WOIPFG's Investigative Report on the Alleged Organ Harvesting of Living Falun Gong Practitioners by Yan Chunyin, Director of the Urological Surgery Department of the First Affiliated Hospital of Soochow University
Jun 16, 2025

Summary: Yan Chunyin, male, is the Director of Urology, Professor, and Chief Surgeon at the First Affiliated Hospital of Soochow University. The hospital claims to be a "National Kidney Transplant Center." The HLA Typing Laboratory states: "The HLA typing reports we issue are recognized by international and domestic transplant centers and the China Marrow Donor Program, significantly reducing the time needed to find suitable donors. The construction and management of the laboratory's technical platform have also been up to international standards, and its influence has extended to the transplantation field both domestically and abroad." A WOIPFG telephone investigation revealed that doctors admitted to using Falun Gong practitioners as donors and could even obtain donors from prisons.

In view of the broader background of the Chinese Communist Party's state crime of organ harvesting from living Falun Gong practitioners, since the First Affiliated Hospital of Soochow University has been allegedly involved in the crime, Yan Chunyin, the director of the hospital's Urological Surgery Department, is a major suspect.
